Dr. Jeri Braunlin, is an Assistant Faculty member at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Department of Neurology. Her preparation as the C3FIT Project Manager includes that she was the primary caregiver for both her parents who experienced stroke, as well, she has a Master’s in Nursing and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice. Dr. Braunlin is an advanced practice nurse with over 40 years of experience including hospital administration, clinical research and in-patient and out-patient stroke clinical responsibilities. Her experiences include Manager of Professional Development for a large hospital system and served on their IRB for over 13 years. She managed two Stroke Programs and has participated in several stroke studies as Co- PI and study coordinator.

As Project Manager for C3FIT, Dr. Braunlin is responsible for the overall administration of the study, providing trial-wide communication, orchestration of required training activities, coordination of and assistance with site assessment and/or initiation visits, collection and review of trial related regulatory documents, sites authorization to initiate enrollment, recruitment performance tracking and site performance analysis. She also serves as a liaison with the granting agency, formulating budgets, managing subcontracts, and approving payment for invoices. She serves as the key resource for Clinical Sites on personnel management and administrative structure. For C3FIT’s Peer Review Process, Dr. Braunlin will provide documentation and consultation on clinical and administrative portions of the study, as well as liaison for the study treatment arm.
